waves of clockwork

The waves of regret crashes onto me again, and again, and again. The waves wasn’t kind to me, it wasn’t compassionate, it wasn’t and definitely not loving to me.

It hung from the wall, pouring and beating me down there with waves, battering me wave after waves until I was no more.

The sound of the waves was but silent. As were my mouth as I stood there. It broke my heart further that I couldn’t decide for my own.

There was just too much intricate clockwork in motion.
